Day O' Fishing

So, Today I got out of clinical lab early and I was invited by my good friend Brad to go fishing with him and his Dad Gary. He suggested to go to our secret spot at Jordanelle lake; I agreed. Our only worry was that there was two pretty big storms coming from different directions and Brad saw lightning so basically we were dead if it struck! Ha ha. The wind was howling and the lake had whitecaps but we were in it to win it. While we were flying to our secret spot at negative knots per hour we almost sunk twice, but thanks to Brad's amazing driving and my bailing skills we made it to our spot. Gary caught the first two fish and Brad and I figured it just wasn't our day. Then, brad caught a huge lunker! Four whole inches! Hahaha! Then I figured it wasn't my day, then I caught the fish O' the day, 16 inch small mouth bass. Shazam! It hit my line pretty hard and ran my line a little but Gary and Brad kept me calm; then I landed it. I was pretty stoked. I'm pretty sure that it's the biggest fresh water fish I've caught. After the wind stopped, we got some sun and Brad caught about six fish but was getting hit a bunch, so all in all it turned out to be a great Day O' Fishing.
